Aim For participants to recognise and act upon warning signs of suicide, to assess and respond appropriately to people at risk of suicide.
Modules 1
Duration 45 minutes
Description A comprehensive and practical module.  Includes an introduction to the CSS Counselling and Crisis Intervention Models, exploration of personal attitudes towards suicide,  familiarisation with and practice using the Risk Assessment Guide.

Other activities include participating in a simulated telephone conversation with a person at risk.  Interactive questions throughout enable learners to try out their understanding and develop confidence.
