Description	The AUTHOR SOE module included with AUTHOR Professional allows you to produce titles for a Standard or Secure Operating Environment. The AUTHOR Player is bound with your lesson and you have the option of either producing a CD/DVD-ROM or a single executable file. Useful for security conscious environments where installing software is not permitted. No files are installed by AUTHOR SOE. An AUTHOR SOE CD-ROM will autorun in secure environments (e.g. XP Guest account), while the executable file may be downloaded and run from an Internet/Intranet site.

How does it work?	AUTHOR SOE only requires a basic install of a supported Windows operating system. It does not need to install any components or change the registry. It does not install the AUTHOR Player but uses a player embedded in the lesson. Suitable for XP networks where only Guest privileges are allowed.
Requirements	Windows 98 SE/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista, CD-ROM The Player will write unencrypted results to a network location or as parameters to a Web page. If you wish to manage learner results, refer instead to our LMS (Web), TMS (network) or Web Results solutions.
