AUTHOR

A unique approach to constructing interactive eLearning that is easy to learn and does not involve programming. Take advantage of the built-in question types or, using the flexibility of AUTHOR, create your own, using a wide range of video, graphics and sound files. In addition to standard features, this product produces web-enabled eLearning and includes the use of user-defined variables and Conditional Actions for complex applications. There are 2 versions of the product - Standard and Professional.

AUTHOR SOE

AUTHOR SOE lets you deliver AUTHOR lessons by autorun CD-ROM or single EXE file from a Web page without the need for installation or the AUTHOR Player. Perfect for Standard or Secure Operating Environments where users are unable to install software.

Packaging

Packages your completed multimedia module with an automatic installation system enabling you to simply produce an unlimited number of copies of the resultant master CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. Does not include management of results unless the lesson is Web Results enabled.

Collect eLearning assessment results via the Internet
AUTHOR Professional

AUTHOR Professional writes unencrypted results to a network location or as HTTP parameters to a Web page. You will need to write an application to retrieve these results from the network file or create ASP, PHP or Perl scripts to retrieve the results from a Web page. If you do not have programming resources, Microcraft offers a variety of methods to allow you to gather your results from anywhere on the planet and store them in our Training Management System.
If you require Web-based delivery of courses with integrated results and student management then we recommend our LMS.

Web Results

Enables geographically dispersed employees to do training on site and have their training results automatically transferred via email or Web server (ASP or PHP required) to a Learning Management System. This system automatically updates employee training records accordingly. Includes appropriate security measures for transferring results data.
