Microcraft eLearning is a Melbourne based company, located in Canterbury, specialising in providing technology based training solutions. Microcraft eLearning's Managing Director and team have expertise in education and training, psychology, business and project management, IT, journalism and research.  We work closely with our clients to develop the very best solutions for their unique needs.

Tony McSherry – Technical Manager/Managing Director

BA (Psychology & Literature), Grad. Dip. Computer Science and Grad. Dip Ed. 

Tony is the Managing Director of Microcraft eLearning and is one of the creators of the AUTHOR™ eLearning Development System.  He is a qualified teacher with considerable experience in secondary and TAFE education, audio/video production,
programming, IT systems, project management and eLearning development and delivery.

Tony supervises and manages the development team and is an experienced educator, scriptwriter, graphic designer, video director, and voice-over artist.


 
Erika Ford - Business Manager/Scriptwriter

Cert IV Small Business Management, Community Support Facilitator (CFA).

Erika joined Microcraft in 2006.  She has over 30 years' industry experience in project and risk management, consulting to local government and private companies. She provides business and project management for the company, as well as client liaison, scriptwriting and quality control services for our projects.

Erika has also made voluntary contributions over the years as a board member to community and professional organisations. Erika has run public environmental and ethical awareness campaigns and was the subject of an ABC Australian Story,"Taking Care of Business." 




Peng Chen - Chief Programmer
Computer Science (Masters)

Peng holds a Masters Degree in Information Technology from the University of Melbourne.  He has worked for Microcraft since 2007 as the lead designer and programmer of recent AUTHORsystem upgrades and is central to the development of the new AUTHOR HTML output option.

 


Russell Holland – Finance and Administration Manager

B.A.(Psych), Grad. Dip. Computer Graphics

Russell has been with Microcraft for fifteen years as our Finance and Administration Manager.  Russell provides administrative services for our projects and is also an accomplished 3D graphic artist and sculptor.


 


 Liz McArthur - Microcraft director, scriptwriter and voice-over artist.

Liz holds a B.A. (Psychology), Grad. Dip. Librarianship, Grad. Dip. Applied Science (Computer Science & Computer Graphics) TEFLA (Cambridge).

  Liz has spent 20 years at Microcraft and is now raising her two young children.  She provides voice-over and script editing in what little spare time she has.

 

 

 

 



Our Development Team

All of Microcraft eLearning's development team have worked with the company for some years and are trained in our AUTHOReLearning
Development System, as well as audio and graphics software.

Four members of our development team have been studying related tertiary courses simultaneously, adding to our overall knowledge base, which has been of great benefit to Microcraft and our clients.

Jack Arnold – eLearning Development Team Lead


Jack joined Microcraft eLearning since 2006 as an eLearning developer while studying an IT degree at Deakin. He was promoted to Microcraft's Development Team Leader in 2008 and is currently completing a BA in Games Design and Development at Swinburne University of Technology.  

Jack's major interests are computer graphics and animation.




Lisa
Barnes – eLearning Developer


After joining the team in 2007, Lisa has worked closely with the other developers to provide quality control and script management. 

Lisa has a clerical background and a wish to expand her skills in project management. 

 


Laura Gordon – eLearning Developer/Scriptwriter


Bachelor of Communications, Major Journalism, Minor Marketing


Laura began work at Microcraft in 2006 as an eLearning developer. She has assisted in script development and also acted in video sequences for the Conflict of Interest module.



Martin Klammer - eLearning Developer


Multimedia student


Martin has worked with us part-time as a developer for three years while studying Multimedia at Deakin & Swinburne. His career interests are balanced between “words and pictures.”


 


Ben Sengsouvanh – eLearning Developer


Multimedia Technology student


Ben has been at Microcraft since 2007, working part-time while studying Information Technology, majoring in Multimedia Technology at Deakin.  Ben has a passion for videography and photography, which he hones in his spare time. He is one of our video crew.  

  


Trevor Theisz - eLearning Developer & Technical Support


Trevor has worked for Microcraft in various capacities for over twenty years, providing a wealth of technical knowledge and hands-on experience with computer hardware. Trevor currently provides technical support within the company, as well as being a key member of the development and quality control team.
